Systems and Networking: Real World Computing


Bachelors Degree in Computer Science (Computer Systems & Networking) or better known as BCN emphasizes on three main aspects which are technical knowledge, technical skills and social skills. This program was specifically designed to support the objectives if the faculty, which is to produce graduates that are informative, highly skilled and competitive in the field of Computer Science and Networking.

Computer Science program students should be able to present their knowledge and understanding in the theories and principles of Computer Science. Produce marketable software with commercial values accepted by the global market. Design application systems by utilizing standard software development processes (planning, requirements analysis, design, implementation, testing and maintenance). Able to utilize standard methods and tools in the management of computer systems (including project management, application development, computer safety). Student should be able to achieve these upon completion of this program
Besides, students should have acquired generic abilities such as effective team working in completing a software development project (team working skills and leadership)  and present technical solutions to a variety of audiences (communication skills). Better still, Identifying problems and its innovative solution fulfilling the principals of Computer Science and Software Engineering (problem solving skills). Nevertheless, Act as ethical professionals (good moral values). Consistent researching, exploring, learning and using new computer technologies and indulging in long life learning (learning skills).
