The Brandlaureate Award is a conceptualized to honor brand excellence amongts the best of brands in Malaysia and the world. It is awarded to deserving brands from multinationals(MNCs), trans-national corporations(TNCs), large corporations(LCs), public-listed companies(PLCs) and goverment-linked companies(GLCs) that have shown best practices in branding and met the stringent selection criteria of the award.
As teh definition of laureate is one that is worthy of the greatest honor or distinction. winning the BrandLaureate Awards is a defining moment as it is testimony of the brand's success and an endorsement of being with the best and acknowledgement of the brand's value, strength and character. For this award to be obtain, UNITEN must need to fulfill the awards criteria that is based on 300-points selection consisting of brand strategy, brand culture, integrated brand communications, brand equity and brand performance.
The areas covered are, brand strategy or identity with a 100 points, brand culture with 40 points, Intergrated Brand Communications with 70 points, brand equity with 40 points and lastly brand performance or profitability with 50 points. This award shows that UNITEN is serious in providing the best course and up to standard for field in engineering and ICT and make a student who graduate from UNITEN became excellent in what they do and ready to work in the outside world that is full of competitors.
